Windows XP service pack 3 released delayed

The windows XP service pack 3 release was delayed by Microsoft. The decision was made after finding out incompatibilities in the new service pack with some of the existing Microsoft products.
Problems were discovered with the Microsoft product, Dynamic retail management system. It is a product aimed at the retail market, and XP service pack 3 was not compatible with it.
Microsoft is now planning to setup a filter, by which the service pack will not be installed on machines where the dynamic retail management system software is installed.
service pack 3 will be last update from microsoft for XP. They are discontinuing the product after that.
